Windows Explorer hangs when opening a specific folder

Windows Explorer hangs when I open a specific folder containing video files.
This folder opened fine a few hours ago. I installed several Microsoft
Critical Updates earlier today, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I was also trying to display the "Duration" column for files in this folder
(which by the way was terribly slow) and when I tried to sort by duration,
Windows Explorer would hang. Not the problem is much worse. I can open the
directory without any problems from the command prompt.

Any help with this would be most appreciated.

I have the same problem on one folder only. Can access data files in folder
from the program installed in the same folder OK. Have had the same folder
program etc for a long time. Started having this problem app 3 weeks ago.
Did full check disk, reorganize, no problems found. Using XP Pro, NTFS. SP2
installed with all updates.
