Windows Explorer From Desktop - Anyone?

Oka

At the moment, I have Windows Explorer shortcut on my
Desktop. My question is, when I right-click on the START
icon on the lower left corner of my screen, when I
select "EXPLORE", I would like it to go straight to either
a drive or folder of my choice. Where can I go in the
system to change the part from the default "C:\Documents
and Settings\omorah\Start Menu" to my choice of drive or
folder. I can customize my destop's shortcut but can't
find the one for the RIGHT-CLICK ON START - EXPLORE!
Thanks for your time.

I wanted the same thing and here's how to do it. Right click on the icon and
go to "properties". Then where it shows, "target" this is my command line:

"C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\Program Files\nbpro\DOWNLOAD

Of course, you can change "C:\Program Files\nbpro\DOWNLOAD" to any directory
you want and that's where explorer will start. Works great!

Try following.
Drop a shortcut of explorer from c:\windows
onto the quicklaunch bar or on the desktop and then goto
Properties and enter in go to targetr line
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e, and then
c:\name of your program folder\name of your progam exe
changing the above lines statement to what ever folder
OR program you wish the explorer to start on
Mine just does C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e, c:\ and
starts up in the root of C:\

Kerry, thanks for your info. I already have the ones with
icons done.

The one I really mean is the "EXPLORE" one gets when you
RIGHR-CLICK the START menu on the lower left corner of the
screen. I would like to set a prefered target.

Thanks again.
