Windows explorer folders (right pane) do not open in same window

R

Rajani

I recently created a print directory command for my
explorer as given the XP support. After that, whenever I
clicked my folders, they opened in a new window with the
"search" task. I removed that through regedit as advised in
the Microsoft knowledge base.
But after that, even with all settings done for "open int
he same window", the right pane folders in the explorer
open in a different window whenever clicked. This is a
little annoying especially when you want to look through a
number of folders using back or forward. Any help
appreciated. Thx, Rajani

Hi,

This command should get things straight for you:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32

Good luck and keep us posted!
