Windows Explorer - Folders pane

Hello:

I too am facing the same problem on my desktop. I have
tried everything but the Folders Pane doesn't show. (even
the View/Explorer Bar/Folders). When I click
Search/History tabs they open all right, and if after that
I click the Folders button, the last opened tab (Search or
History) opens.

Please help.

Thank you for the help.
I found from a previous post that the registry key may
pointing to the incorrect file that buils the explorer
tree. this is due to ie 5.5 or ie. 6. the dll differs. i
fixed that and the pane now appears.
