Although each drive has an AutoPlay settings page in its properties where
you can select "Do nothing" for each media type, I found that the auto
prompt was still appearing. I use TweakUI for XP to stop it completely.
Using this program, AutoPlay can be enabled or disabled on a per drive
basis.
