I have this annoying problem of Windows Explorer being started at Windows XP
startup.

I've checked msconfig startup folder but it's not being called from there.
The run
key in the registry but it's not listed there, which is equivalent to the
startup folder.

Anyone got any suggestions as to where this is being called up from at
startup.

Hi Jeffrey,

Is it opening to the C:\Windows\system32 folder?

Also, check for a line in msconfig the loads /L:ENG, if it exists, uncheck
it. This is a known cause of this as well.
