"Windows encountered problem" message. How to buy-pass & correct

When I open an Excel workbook, (with macros), the "Windows has encountered a
Problem" message pops-up, and asks it I want to "Send Error Report" or "Don't
Send." I think I know the problem. I inadvertently copied a control button,
and know I have two control button linked the same cell. But, I can't get
past the Windows Message to repair it. .... Is there a way to buy-pass the
message?

Holding down the Shift key when loading the workbook will usually prevent macro's to start.
