Windows Display Propeties

Cannot get into display properties from the Desktop. Right clicking on
desktop gives an hourglass, then i have to reboot to operate. Runnng Windows
XP w/sp2. any help would be appreciated...........RLT

Hi RLT,
Try to press these set of keys together (ALT + CTRL + Delete) and see which
Processor is taking the Higher usage of the CPU and write it down and send it
to us here in your next post including the symptoms and any unusual behavior
like slow down and when it all started.

Right-click programs are usually caused by buggy shell extensions. To
isolate the problem, see:

right clicking desktop and going to task mgr shows one spike and then cpu is
about 0% to 4-5%. Have had this problem quite some time. Everything thing
else seems to be running just fine. Also, and running an nvidia
Geforce4mx420. Display Properties runs fine thur control panel. Tks RLT
