Is there any way to make windows stop searching for other
wireless networks once its connected to my network? Every
time that it detects another wireless network in my
neighborhood, and there are many, It makes me reconnect
to my wireless network before I can continue. This can
get annoying because it happens about every 5 minutes. I
have windows XP with a centrino processor with integrated
wireless.

Delete all networks from your preferred network list,
except your own.
Disable the "automatically connect to non-preferred
networks" in the advanced TAB.
That will stop windows from connecting to another network.
P.S.: Make sure your SSID broadcast is enabled!
Hope it helps
