Is there a limit on the size of the Desktop folder ? reason I ask is that my
Fiancee seems to have lost several files after saving them to the desktop -
when the Desktop was already loaded with files and folders.

Thanks

Try right-clicking the Desktop and choose a different arrangement and
see if they appear. Or change the display temporarily to a higher
resolution and see if they were off the screen or hiding behind other stuff.

Perhaps, but in reality, you really dont want to save files to your
desktop. Best bet is to download files to a download folder, NOT to your
desktop.

Thank you, both, for those responses.

I have actually opened the Desktop folder, so the files have actually gone
missing.
