Windows Defender will not update 0x8024002b

Hi

I tried to update the Window Defender's Signatures but getting "Windows
defender was unable to complete the update: 0x8024002b

Can somebody help?

Are you on a large, managed network, where access to AutoUpdate is
restricted?

Is there a WSUS server on the network?

i am also getting the same error on my office computer.

i am able to run all other automatic updates successfully - like microsoft
automatic updates, symantec updates etc. Only windows defender update is
failing.

When i used Anti Spyware, the updates never failed and i never faced this
problem before.

Please help me out.

Hi

Your admin must permit/publish WDs definitions from the WSUS server.
Otherwise you cannot update.

Talk or send a mail to your IT dept !
