dounloaded the latest update and everything appeared to work fine, including
installation of the update. However, Defender did not show as updated, either
by version or statement of how many days since last update. When atempting
an udoate with Defender, is tells me I have the latest update even though I
don't.
If I go through the windows update, it tells me I need to update. I do so
with the same results. I then uninstalled the program, downloaded and
installed it again. Then I tried updating it with the same results as above
except it now an even older update (original). ---- In short, I lost ground.
