For the record, my Vista test platform reports:

Hi Scott,
Version 1.1.1347.0 is out.

Users who normally select advanced Spynet membership should be aware that
the install process will set you back to basic membership, so it's a good
idea to revisit both the Spynet membership area of Tools, and the Options
area--to see what's different, and check that your old choices have been
preserved.
I would also recommend: Download and save to the desktop. Close all open
IE windows, and any open Windows Defender UI window before running the
downloaded installer.

Sorry, but that particular link if for production operating systems such as
XP and MCE. It appears that Vista cannot use that version.

For Vista, you stay on the version distributed with your build of Vista. I
assume this may change once Vista is released, but for now, that's the
situation--the engine and definitions change, the UI does not.

Thanks Bill. That was (more or less) my point. Vista's UI is indeed
different than that of XP and MCE. The "guts" are the same and perform the
same.

I only have one non-production system running Vista and Office 2007 at this
time. I may add them to my (semi-production) laptop when I am more
comfortable with the platform
