windows defender in WindowsUpdate

why isn't windows defender listed in windowsupdate? It should be added to the
high-priority updates of windowsupdate. Everyone worldwide should get windows
defender. Can you add windows defender into windowsupdate please?
I only just found out about windows defender yesterday when i was reading a
forum post and there will be alot of people out there that need protection
from spyware.

It will probably never happen.
People would feel Microsoft is forcing WD on them when many are already
happy with the current tools they use.

Windows Vista comes with Windows Defender but you can use other spyware ID
tools with or instead.

Ok well howabout microsoft releasing Windows defender as a low-priority
update in windowsupdate then? Can you tell microsoft to consider this please?

Windows Defender has been on the main page at www.microsoft.com for months
if not years, now. I don't know what the factors are that might prevent a
WindowsUpdate release, but one might be waiting for more localized versions
to be available.
