Windows Classic Question

When I first got WinXP in my computer, I opted for Windows Classic. Now we
have the same situation in my husband's computer. I selected Windows
Classic for the desktop properties, but when you go to the Start menu, it's
still showing WinXP choices (layout) whereas in mine it's definitely the
Classic choices. How can I can/correct that in his computer?

The Theme and Taskbar/Start Menu have independent settings. Just
Right Click the Start Button, Take Properties and when the details
box opens toggle the radio button to "Classic Start Menu"

Try this, or one of the other related tweaks at Kelly's site:

Line 167. Force Classic Start Menu

there is a "windows theme"
service that you can
disable via services under
admin tools
