Windows CE 2.12

Did anyone ever try to develop .NET applications for this
version of Windows CE? I konw it's not an official
supported OS, but... It's possible to run a .NET
application on it?
 
3.0 isn't even supported, I can't image 2.12 even has half the plumbing
needed.
 
I thought CE3.0 (pocketpc/pocketpc2002/hpc2000?) was supported by .NET CF?
