Windows Calendar: no task recurrence?

Is it true or are my eyes kidding me? Isn't there a way of creating
recurrent tasks in Windows Calendar?

I'm not a calendar expert (I use Yahoo Calendar), but Vista's
Windows Calendar has been largely superseded by Windows
Live Calendar:

Ok, I may try Windows Live Calendar, but is it stored locally or remotely?
If remotely... no, thanks. I'm not comfortable of having so many personal
information stored outside my control. Besides, Windows Live Calendar is in
beta test, unavailable in Brazil.

I don't know much about it. My guess is that the main database
is kept online, with a copy on the local machine, see

I like having my calendar online because I can access it from any computer
anywhere in the world.
