Windows Calendar: no task recurrence?

Is it true or are my eyes kidding me? Isn't there a way of creating
recurrent tasks in Windows Calendar?

Ok, I may try Windows Live Calendar, but is it stored locally or remotely?
If remotely... no, thanks. I'm not comfortable of having so many personal
information stored outside my control. Besides, Windows Live Calendar is in
beta test, unavailable in Brazil.

I'm not a calendar expert (I use Yahoo Calendar), but Vista's
Windows Calendar has been largely superseded by Windows
Live Calendar:
