Windows Calendar and Microsoft Works Calendar

I'm currently using Windows Calendar but I would like to test Works Calender
to see if it better fits my needs.

Windows Calendar exports in .ics format; Works Calendar imports in .ics
format. When I attempt to import into Works Calendar, however, the attempt
fails, and I receive an error:

"Calendar couldn't add appointments. Make sure the appoints in the
originating file are formatted and typed correctly, and then try again. If
Calendar is still unable to import appointments from this file, this file mat
not be usable."

Is there a fix available for this problem?

As far as I'm aware the export options in Works Calendar does not support
what Windows Calendar can import which .ics. I'm afraid you might just have
continue using Works which is at version 8.5. You could probably Export the
Works Calendar to Microsoft Office Outlook as a text file then import it as
an Outlook Calendar (.ics format) into Windows Calendar.
