Unchecking that box means I have to minimize all of my open windows to get
to the task bar. I've also tried hiding the taskbar which is just annoying,
and locking the taskbar doesn't doesn't fix the problem.
This problem only happens with a couple of programs.
The command prompt is one of them. When I open a new cmd windows and then
maximize it, everything is fine. After I minimize the window or switch to
another one, it hides under the taskbar when I come back to it.
The other one is the search window in Outlook Express. I double-click the
title bar twice to have that window maximized and it hides behind the
taskbar. If I do a search first, and then double-click the title bar, it
will maximize without hiding behind the taskbar.
Both of these are things I do often enough for this to be very annoying.
I would really like the problem fixed for the cmd window.
I image the lack of response from Microsoft directly, means this is a
programming issue that is not going to be fixed.
When I posted that last message, I was really trying to figure out why
Microsoft is not responding. I pay a fairly large chunk of money for my
Technet Plus subscription and would like to think they would follow through
on what I get for that.
Thanks for your reply.
