windows 98 saving password

Hello,
I have several windows 98 machines that connect to a windows 2003 server. I
have the latest rdp client installed. I'm trying to save a users connection
information so that they just click on the icon and it automatically logs
them into the server. This works fine with 2000 and XP but the save password
button is grayed out on windows 98. Is this not possible on 98? Thanks.

No, you need at least W2K or XP for this feature. It doesn't work on
W9x or NT.
The reason is that the encryption method used when storing the
password locally is not supported on older versions of the OS.
