WIndows 95 boot up

Mike

I have just refitted the hard drive to my win.95 computer
after using it as a slave in my win.xp machine.
I have reset the jumper to the original master position
but now it will not complete the boot up procedure.
Under the Systems Configuration screen it shows,Primary
Master Disc -None Primary Slave Disc -None.
At this point it asks for the boot disk to be inserted but
after reading from that, it stops at the message " CDR101:
not ready reading drive D"
Abort,Retry,Fail
Can anyone please tell me how to rectify this.

This is a Windows *XP* group. Suggest you repost to a group more concerned
with your operating system.

Your CD drive may be configured as master. Double check the jumper setting
for it, and
also the position of the hard drive on the ribbon cable.
