windows 2k file server for mac stopped

I get this message in my event viewer "The File Server for
Macintosh service terminated with service-specific error
234. " I tried restarting the service but it fails. I
also tried reinstalling the windows components for mac
file sharing also to no avail. Anybody have an idea?
