Hi,

I have setup and Windows 2003 Server to host our VPN, my clients are running
Windows XP Pro. The client can connect over the internet to the VPN Server.
When connected, the client can ping, browse, and transfer files over the VPN
to the server.

Here is the problem:
-After the client is connected to the VPN for about 1 minute every thing
stops working - the client cannot ping, browse, or transfer files anymore.
-If the client breaks the connection and reconnects, everything works fine
again - for 1 minute!

Anyone have any idea why this is happening??

Thanks!
Chris

You are getting 1 minute more than us - we can get the clients to connect,
they are assigned an IP through the VPN to our DHCP server, the connection
shows up in the server's rrasmgmt.msc, there appears to be network traffic
through the VPN connection, but none of (ping, browse, transfer files) work.
There are no error messages anywhere that I could find (event log, etc).

VPN used to work on a NT4 server - after we moved to 2003 server, we never got
it to work again.
