windows 2003 DFS replication very slow

hi

we've just installed 2 windows 2003 serves as dc's and we are trying to
replicate our DFS. the replication speed between the servers is very slow.
is it possible to turn up de replication speed? the frs service use only 1-2
% of our 1 GB network connection.

can somebody help us. thanx.

Are the 2 DC's in the same site ?

Also what type of content are you storing in the DFS replica's, is it static
content, or is it roaming profiles etc.

Another consideration is how large is the content, are you saying that you
have enabled replication and the initial sync is going slow, or that when
updates to files are made that they don't replicate over in a timely
fashion.
