windows 2000 using Watchguard

Does anyone use Watchguard? I am configuring a new Dell
with W2K, and our network uses Watchguard. I am able to
authenticate, however as soon as I go to a site the
Watchguard screen, that is normaly kept minimized, just
automatically closes and the user is kicked out of the
program. I have set up several new systems and this is the
first time I have ever had this happen. Any feedback will
be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well it appears that Watchguard has been setup to allow
only traffic from specific ip's or machines, or to
specific sites? Did you check the Watchguard config? Does
it use a local client that may need installing? Does it
have a maximum number of users and reached that maximum?

aardvark,
Thanks for the reply. I have checked with the Network
Admin. who has Watchguard installed on a server in another
building. He has no idea why this is happening either.
Since this users machine is assigned a place on the
network, and since he can log in successfully, I am told
there is no reason for Watchguard to be closing on it's
own. He also said there is no limit to the maximum users.
I will continue to wrestle with this tomorrow when I get
back to work. Thanks again.
