Windows 2000 updating problem--related to Virtual PC?

When I run Windows Update for Windows 2000, Internet Explorer launches
and everything goes smoothly until I try to download an update. Then
I get an error message saying that a script error has occurred and the
Accept button on the agreement form is disabled. Is this a problem
unique to Virtual PC? Thanks!

P.S. If it's relevant, I'm running Virtual PC 6.1 and Windows 2000
under OS X Jaguar on a Powerbook G3 Wallstreet with 512MB RAM and 40GB
HD.
