I have a win2k server with sql server installed on it. I
was having difficulties with the server just freezing up,
thought it was something to do with the server. however
when I turn off sql server the server runs perfectly. Any
Idea on how I can resolve this issue at hand?

You didn't give enough information to make an educated guess. You mean
freezing up, no error message whatsoever? Looks like a hardware problem to
me, like bad or not enough memory.

To know the server's configuration might help a lot. Try again!
