Hi!, Can someone explain why Windows 2000 server crawls
during boot up right after you join it to a AD?
When I remove it from the AD, it boots at normal speed.

Thanks,
John

Maybe some problems with processing GPO and logon scripts.
First thing to check is the DNS server in TCP/IP configuration - it
should point to the DNS server which has information about the domai, in
most cases this is Your DC

if this will not help check Your NIC speed, turn off auto negotiation
and set proper speed and link options manually on the workstation and on
the switch port to which it is connected
