windows 2000 pro hard drive

I hope this is the right group. I just got a Hitachi's deskstar 7K400 400
gb hard drive.

I am using it for a dvr security system. my problem is I cant create a
volume bigger than 130 gb. is it possible.

my thoughts were to create a volume for the os of 30gb and use the rest for
video storage.

any suggestions?
