windows 2000 pc card use question

I just got my first laptop, an old Micron Trek 2. It runs Windows 2000.

I ordered and received a 3 Com 3C574-TX 16 bit Ethernet pc card. 3 Com
tells me I need their installations disk/drivers for all Windows versions
except 2000, and that the card works with 2000, but I won't need the install
drivers. I assume this means that 2000 comes with the drivers.

How do I go about finding out if the card will work with my Windows 2000?
Just do the Add Hardware thing and see?

Plug & Play will probably detect it without you doing anything.

I've used that exact card on win2k.

Plug it in, win2k will install the drivers automatically.
