Windows 2000 on multiple computers - licensing question

What can I expect if I install Windows 2000 Professional (from one CD) on 2
home computers and put them on the same networkme. Will problems occur?

It will allow you to install, BUT it is NOT legit unless you have 2 licenses
!

If your W2K CD is an OEM license which came with one of the machines, than
you can only run this on the machine it came with
In that case you need to purchase another (retail) version for the other
machine

If you W2K CD is already retail, you can only install it on one of your two
machines (doesn't matter which one) AND (again) you need to purchase a
second license for your second machine

Probably not what you wanted to hear but that is the case
