Hello all,
I have a win2k advanced server with cluster services running SQL cluster.
the server has 4CPU and 8GB of RAM. as soon as i start the server, the
entire RAM is used and there is only 300MB left. Task Manager shows all
services, but none use that memory. I ran Poolmon, but nothing there. I have
an Identical server whihc is the passive node in the cluster, but that one
is OK.
Any ideas on how to quickly find out what is consuming the memory would be
appreciated. My only choice left is to stop the services one at a time and
check!!!!
thx

I would first look in SQL and find out how much memory it
is set to lock down when it starts. It is possible that
SQL is configured to grab 7.7 GB of memory.
