How can I find out weather my OS is Windows 2000
Professional or Windows 2000 Home edition?
 
There is no "Windows 2000 Home edition", so that leaves Pro. while at
the desktop press the "F1" key to view.
 
You just found out ... it is the Professional version.

I ran an analyzer on your posting and it says the post definitely came from
a Windows 2000 Professional machine.

There is no such thing as Windows 2000 Home, only Windows 2000
Professional. Windows X-tra P-problems has a Home edition.
