I have a windows 2000 system. It starts, and appear the screen with the
windows 2000 logo and
the progession blue bar at the top. But, when the progression bar arrives at
end, does not appear
the mouse pointer and the windows screen, it reboots automatically. I tried
to copy the file system
of folder repair to the system32\config folder, but It fails too.

What can I do?. Thanks a lot.

JP,

Boot the machine into safe mode ((F8) after the post screen)

Logon with admin rights, right click my computerand select
properties\advanced\start up and recovery\untick 'automatically restart' and
reboot, when it reboots post what the blue screen says here

The problem is that the computer can't boot in safe mode, It reboots
automatically anyway. thanks.
