Windows 2000 crash

we have the message
"windows 2000 could not start because the following file
is missing or corrupt
<window 2000 root7\system32\ntoskrnl.exe>
Please re-install a copy of the above file"

Does anyone know how to fix this problem please

Hi Cley,

Is this error occuring after you installed some new software. The best bet
will be to repair the Operating System using the Windows 2000 Server CD.
You would need to boot with the CD and choose the repair option.
Do feel free to revert in case you want more inputs on this
