Windows 2000 and 64 Bit M/B

Old P3 m/b died and replaced with a AMD 64 bit 3000 m/b. Windows 2000 will
boot up but when the login screen appears, my keyboard and mouse freeze and
am unable to continue. I reboot, in safe mode and receive the blue screen.
I swap to my Windows XP Pro hard drive and XP boots up fine and I logon with
no issues.
