Windows 2000 Admin Password Reset

How do I reset the Administrator password on my sons
Windows 2000 PC??? He no longer uses the PC and I want to
add hardware but I get the message "need administator
privel...etc.)

The only way to do this is to login with an account the is a member of the
administrators group. Without it, no can do by traditional methods.

There are password reset disks listed there for download if necessary.
There are also a few issues that may be preventing you from logging
in as Administrator.

The initial "Administrator" password was chosen by whoever installed
Windows. He or she may remember the password.
