Windowed Powerpoint viewer control

Hi Everyone,

I'm writing .NET forms application and I would like to view and control a
PowerPoint presentation in a child window on my application's main form. Does
anyone know of a control (such as an .ocx control) that allows the viewing of
PowerPoint presentations in a child window? Oh, and it would be great if it
was redistributable royalty-free as well.

Cheers

Not to my knowledge. You can of course write an OCX and include PPT
(Office) in your references of your VB project so when the user fires it up
it calls on their installed PPT. As to creating your own OCX to run a
presentation without having PPT installed, would require you to violate
several hundred MS patents. :-(
