I am running Windows XP and IE 7 on my desktop. I have all the latest updates
installed. I keep getting logged out of phpbb forums.
I have Vista and IE7 on my laptop and it seems to work fine so it leads me
to believe it is a setting possibly in XP.
Does anyone know what setting in either XP or IE is causing me to get logged
out of the PhpBb forums. It seems that sometimes it happens constantly and
then there are days when it doesnt. I am a moderator on one of the forums and
this is getting a little to much to bear.
Maybe there is a patch or simple option to check?
Thanks for your help

On the NIC properties click on Power Settings or Management and make sure
this check box not checked:

Click [OK] and you done, does it hold the connection?.

If the above didn't help try to upgrade the Wireless/NIC firmware for your PC.
