Window XP Service Pack 2

Updates are ready for this computer. It's the above subject. I download it
and it takes a really long time, but it doesn't want to install completely.
I can't download IE7 without the Service Pack 2. I need to fix this problem.
What do I do?

Be more specific. Is there and error message? What do you see when the
installation fails. Check
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/sp2_whattoknow.mspx and follow all
the instructions; have you successfully completed the following steps?
"Before You Install SP2" and "Quick Tips for Successful Installation".
