window mail always shot down after opening attachement

After I open an attachement and close it, if I want to open an other one,
window mail
shot down by itself.
What can I do to solve the probleme?

There is a known attachments problem caused by a recent update to
Norton antivirus. There may be a newer update that corrects the problem,
so first try updating Norton.

Norton Antivirus users are entitled to a free upgrade to Norton Antivirus 2009,
which cures the problem.

As a last resort, uninstall Norton antivirus and follow up with their debris removal tool:
