Window keeps crashing and bringing me back to desktop

let's say i open c:/music ........atter 3 or 6 seconds i'm brought back to desktop and the window is closed.

I scaned with symantec antivirus 9, ad-aware profeesional and spybot. Nothingg is infected

All updated uptodate including windows...

i'm on WinXp Sp2 pro.


and another porblem, in Internet Explorer, when I right click on a link and choose 'save link as' nothing happens, howcome?

Try uninstalling Windows XP SP2 since it's still being tested at MS and beta
testers (like myself) are finding a number of bugs on SP2. Just roll back to
XP SP1 and see if you still have the above errors. If you still do try
posting in the newsgroups again Will be happy to assist you.

This is not a correct answer. There are numerous security
updates that are marked SP2, that are from windows update.

Don't bank on any one cleaner. For starters run the several mentioned here:
