Window does not stay open

I am using IE6 (WINXP Pro+SP2) and find when I open a window for some sites
then click on a link, the link will momentarily open then close. I am not
using a popup stopper but assume this must be related to a security setting.
Any suggestions on where to start?

Hi,
This sounds like the work of Ad-aware Pro- the "Block pop-ups" feature. If
not being done by Ad-aware, it's probably the work of another pop-up
blocker. Examine all toolbars, add-ons and privacy/security programs for
this feature.

The IE6 po-up blocker doesn't usually allow a window to open (even briefly)
before closing it.

Less likely, but...
