Window can be moved under taskbar

On a certain computer, I can manually move a window caption completely under
a taskbar (topmost, no auto-hide) on top of the screen. As a result, I
cannot click on the caption anymore, and therefore can't easily move the
window back out.

On another machine, the cursor stops when I try to move a caption under a
taskbar, which is the behaviour I expect to see.

Does this depend on the hardware? I have W2K SP4 on both machines. Both have
a dual screen configuration (but with different graphic cards), although
only the machine where I have the problem has a configuration where Windows
recognizes two display monitors (on the other machine, the graphic driver
takes care of that, and the system only sees one display monitor).

Thanks for help

So far as I know, this is normal behavior. I can do that on every Windows
system I use. The easiest way to move the windows in that situation is to
right-click on its taskbar button, click Move, and then use the arrow keys
to shift the windows position. Pressing Enter exits move mode.

This is nice, but unusual. It must be a function of your dual-screen
graphics driver.
