Window 2 open automaticly

Hi All,

When I open a normal workbook (without VBA) a second, same workbook
opens automaticly. Named xls:2.
How can I get rid off this?? Has it something to do with my settings?
Usually it works fine.

Hi Berry

What you've done is saved down the workbook with two windows open
viewing this workbook. Simply close one of them (hit the cross in the
top right of the window) and then save the workbook down. On
reopening you should only have the one window now.

Hi
You have made two windows of the same workbook.
Click on the second upper right "x" button from the top of the Excel Window
(the one immediately under the bigger "X" button that closes Excel).
Save your workbook.

It's actually two different windows or views into the same workbook.

Select the window you don't want and hit ctrl-w.

Then save the workbook--or you'll be doing it again.
