Windos Home Edition Xp ActiveX setting

I cannot get any XP updates from the MicroSoft web site
for the following problem:

The MSG I get is "Your current security settings prohibit
running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the
page may not display properly." After this the update
aborts.

From Internet Explorer: Tools->Options->Security->Default Level->[OK]
