Win32 Beep does not work in XP64

Hi,

Does anyone know why Beep function does not generate any internal speaker
tones in XP64? I have verified that the internal speakers are connected to
the motherboard, and the mixer setting for the internal speaker is not muted,
and set to maximum volume

Try it after execute "net start beep" in a command window.
