win32 app error

I get an error when trying install a program or run cmd?

Error: XXX.XXX is not a valid win32 application

I agree, XXX.XXX is _not_ a valid win32 application ;-)

But, seriously, you'll have to tell us more than that!

Hey Alan,

I get the same thing once in awhile. Lately I've been trying to install an Epson printer with
downloaded drivers from their site. The printer installs OK but I can't get the Status Monitor to
install. W2K reports STMSETUP.EXE as an invalid Win32 application. Epson isn't budging so is there
something wrong with my OS? I used to reformat and reinstall W98 quite often but I don't think I've
reinstalled W2K for almost 4 years! Runs pretty damn sweet!

Anyway, any help is appreciated.
