Win2k lost cd-key

Ok forgive me if im in the totally wrong place here. I am
new to the support forums. My win2k box and cd-key have
been lost, misplace, thrown away im not sure. I want to
reistall win 2k on my computer but do not have the key, is
there any way I can retrieve from my computer or
Microsoft ?
 
If it was retail you can try our customer service line for assistance with a
new one. You will need some documentation about when/where you purchased
the product and most likely a Part Number.
